Caregiver

Who We Are

At Jamie’s Place, we believe that aging should be an enlivening experience, not an isolating one. We are a non-profit adult family home that follows the Green House Model, creating a "real home" environment where elders can thrive with dignity, grace, and meaningful relationships. We are looking for compassionate individuals who want to be more than just staff—we want you to be part of our residents' daily lives.

The Role

As a caregiver at Jamie’s Place, you are the heart of our home. You will assist our elders with the rhythms of their day, ensuring they feel empowered and respected.

  • Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.

  • Meaningful Life: Supporting resident interests—whether it’s gardening, puzzles, or sharing a meal.

  • Daily Rhythms: Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management.

  • Community: Building deep, respectful connections with residents and their families.

Why Work With Us?

  • Small Ratios: We maintain a 1:6 caregiver-to-resident ratio, allowing you to provide truly personalized care.

  • Career Growth: We offer a FREE certification path for those new to caregiving (HCA class) with a one-year contract.

  • Advanced Training: We provide an HCA-to-CNA Bridge program with a $2/hr wage increase upon completion.

  • Supportive Culture: Work in a beautiful, intentional community in the heart of the Methow Valley.

  • Awake Facility: We are a 24-hour awake facility, offering consistent, stable 8.25-hour shifts.

What You Bring

  • A compassionate heart and a desire to serve our local elders.

  • Reliability and the ability to work independently.

  • Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check.

  • HCA/CNA license preferred, but we will train the right candidate!

Compensation and Benefits

  • Wages: Starting at $19.20/hr (depending on experience and shift)

    Shifts: Days (5:45am–2pm) | Evenings (1:45pm–10pm) | Nights (9:45pm–6am)
