Nearly 200 residents—and their families and friends—have benefited from Jamie’s Place’s unique, community-based adult family homes. As the Methow Valley’s population ages, more people are seeking long-term care that allows them to remain in the community they call home. Many of these neighbors span a wide range of income levels, from low-income residents to those in the middle—and not everyone has the financial means to fully cover the cost of care. As Jamie’s Place continues to adapt to changes in healthcare, aging, and the economic realities of rural life, community support plays a vital role in ensuring we can meet people where they are and continue providing high-quality, compassionate care for all who need it.
